CLARK, PAMPANGA - Forty elementary schools across Region III battled for cerebral supremacy in the 3rd PhiSciCLaban Friday, July 7 at the Event Center, SM Clark.
PhiSciCLaban, the yearly academic quiz bee of the Philippine Science High School ? Central Luzon Campus (PSHS-CLC) aimed to promote the school to promising grade six students and future scholars and build stronger partnership with elementary schools in the region.
Center of Excellence - Kalalake Elementary School (Zambales) stood out as champion after outscoring first runner-up winner Montessori School of Malolos (Bulacan).
Olongapo Wesley School, Inc. (Zambales) outwitted last year's champion Dinalupihan Elementary School (Bataan) during the clash for second and third runners-up, respectively.
Likewise, Olongapo Wesley School, Inc. (Zambales) won the individual and group highest pointer awards during the elimination round.
Pampanga Vice-Governor Joseller "Yeng" Guiao and Engr. Mariza Mandocdoc, Clark Development Corporation (CDC) Vice-President for Permits/ Licensing and Monitoring welcomed and congratulated the contestants and winners.
