The event was graced by none other than the Executive Director himself, Dr. Larry Cabatic. He welcomed the scholars to a new school year. He reminded everyone to take their studies seriously but not forget to have fun and enjoy their high school life with their friends. The director also thanked the parents for entrusting their children to the school. After Dr. Cabatic’s brief but inspiring talk, the campus director of PSHS-CLC, Ms. Lilia T. Habacon, explained the PSHS curriculum and framework. The Department Heads, together with their faculty members, were then introduced to the students and parents. The basic academic policies, which are very important for the students to understand, were discussed by Mr. Aries Oliveros, the CISD chief. Bernice Genevieve Baron of Batch 2018 led the students in reciting the Scholar’s Pledge. To close the first half of the program, the SSD chief, Mark Xavier Bailon, gave a short but meaningful message to the students.

The second half of the program started with the Homeroom PTA Election led by the homeroom advisers. The Batch PTA election took place right after which was led by the batch advisers.
