It’s four years in a row and counting!

The Central Scholar won three awards in school paper contest of the the National Schools Press Conference (NSPC) held at the Notre Dame  of Marbel University gym in Koronadal City on February 23.

The school paper won third place in both news and feature sections and ranked sixth in the science and technology section.

“Winning three awards is a blessing. I am inspired and challenged to mentor campus journalists of Philippine Science High School – Central Luzon Campus,” said Aries N. Oliveros, school paper adviser.

Oliveros added that he will motivate the writers to work on winning at least four awards in next year’s NSPC, so that The Central Scholar will be finally declared as the country’s most outstanding student publication.

The Central Scholar now has 10 national awards since it started joining the NSPC in Ormoc City, Leyte in 2013.
