This supplemental bid bulletin for the Supply, Delivery and Installation of Technical and Science Equipment for the Fabrication Laboratory of PSHS-CLC is being issued to all participating bidders to clarify, amend and/or modify certain provisions in the bidding documents as a result of the Pre-Bid conference held on December 4, 2018.
Clarifications and queries regarding the requirements for the bid and specifications of the project are as follows:

| Item 1: Scanning Unit Specification of “Print” Accuracy was raised to be “Point” Accuracy due to the nature of a scanning unit. | It is not “print” but “point” accuracy. It was just an auto spell error. |
| Item 1: Scanning Unit Provision of 18GB memory instead of the specified 16GB | It was indicated “at least 16GB” of memory which is the minimum requirement. Higher value will be better. |
| Item 3: Continuous Fiber Printing System Verification of material compatibility (Carbon Fiber) with the Fiber Printing System specifications | It was indicated “at least fiberglass” compatibility which is the minimum requirement. A stronger composite material compatibility will be better. |
| Item 4: CNC Metal Lathe System Verification of enclosure: full or backsplash? | It was indicated in the inclusions both the backsplash and full enclosure. Backsplash will be the minimum requirement. |
| Item 4: CNC Metal Lathe System Verification of specification: Flatbed or slant? | A compact slant bed will be preferred due to a smaller workspace. |
| Item 4: CNC Metal Lathe System Provision of other control software other than CAD such as Siemens | Any software brand that meets the minimum requirement will be accepted. |
| Nature and amount of SLCC | SLCC must be similar to the ABC of the lot to be bid and not of the entire ABC. Nature of Contract must be any Technical and Scientific Equipment for the Fabrication Laboratory |
| Verification of Training Certification requirement should trainers be certified by the manufacturer? | Trainers should be certified by the manufacturer. |
| Eligibility Documents | Only one (1) set of eligibility documents is to be submitted. Bidders must indicate “no bids” for lots that they are not participating in. |
| Supplemental Bid Bulletin | Supplemental Bid Bulletin is not required to be attached in the bid docs |
