ARAYAT STAGES RAMAYANA
Students of section Arayat of the Philippine Science High School-Central Luzon Campus successfully staged ?Ramayana? on March 2, 2012 at the Holy Family Academy Auditorium.
Ramayana is one of the two most important ancient epics of India, the other being the Mahabharata. The epic was originally written by sage (rishi) Valmiki of Ancient India. Ramayana narrates the story of Prince Rama who has been exiled from his kingdom, and it also narrates how Sita, Rama?s consort, was abducted by the evil King Ravana and was rescued by a tribe of monkeys through the leadership of the mokey leader, Hanuman.
The successful staging of the play was an outcome of the month-long preparation of the students of 3-Arayat.

New Yorker sa Tondo in Pampanga
by Macy Matundan
The Philippine Science High School-Central Luzon Campus scholars are going to have a stage play on March 2, 2012 (Friday), 3 PM, at the Holy Family Academy auditorium. Students, together with their families, are welcome to watch the talented juniors showcase their talent in acting.
The said event is composed of three plays that are going to be performed by three sections of the third year scholars. One of the plays to be featured is entitled "New Yorker sa Tondo", a classic Filipino satire written by Marcelino Agana, Jr. back in the 1950's.
This play is about a girl, Kikay, who came home to the Philippines?specifically in Tondo, Manila?after staying in New York City for several months. It shows the influences of the foreign culture experienced by a typical Filipino?Kikay?which she projects towards her family and friends.
Audience will surely love the characters in the play "New York sa Tondo." It will surely tickle the people's hearts and make the audience laugh hard as it reflects some realities in our society.

The PSHS-CLC Guidance Center with the support of the Batch 2013 Officers has organized a Career Forum with the theme "CDC: Choices, Decisions and Consequences" last January 4, 2012 at the Clark Aviation Recreational Hall in Clark Freeport Zone, Pampanga. The objective of conducting the said activity was to orient the students on the different science and technology careers particularly in Computer Science and the various courses in Engineering ? Mechanical, Agricultural, Electronics, and Communications.
The speakers who generously shared their expertise and experiences for the event were Allan M. Espinosa, an alumnus of the PSHS Main Campus and a faculty member in the University of Chicago; Engr.
