Kudos to the sublime performances of all our scholars who participated in the HIPPO English Language Olympiad 2023 Preliminary Round!
The HIPPO English Language Olympiad Preliminary Round was held virtually last March 19, 2023. All 17 PSHS-CLC participants bagged awards in the competition with three students in HIPPO 4 category exhibiting an outstanding success of winning GOLD awards: Raphael Lorenzo Katigbak (Gr. 10); Maya Isabel Feliciano (Gr. 11); and, Rexine Joy Roxas (Gr. 11) who will advance to the Semi-Final Round on April 30, 2023.
Six PSHS-CLC participants in HIPPO 3, 4, and 5 levels garnered SILVER awards: Juliana Elisha Go (Gr. 9); Kurt Nathaniel Canto (Gr. 10); Ryumi Miakka Therese Dizon (Gr. 11); Mark Louelle Carbungco (Gr. 11); Icy Gwyneth David (Gr. 11); and, Jose Leonardo Semana (Gr. 12).
Six PSHS-CLC participants in HIPPO 3, 4, and 5 levels won BRONZE awards: Johanna Patrice Loresca (Gr. 9); Alexie Guia Mancao (Gr. 9); Chelsea Marie Dungo (Gr. 9); Hilary Kirstynn Lao (Gr. 10); Marithe Ianne Gonzales (Gr. 11); and, Maria Adara Bukchinella Carreon (Gr. 11).
Two PSHS-CLC participants in HIPPO 3 and 4 levels earned merits: Rafael Jaron Martin (Gr. 8) and Cedric Noel Elagio (Gr. 9).
