The INTARMED program is an accelerated medicine program offered by the University of the Philippines. It streamlines the entire medical education journey by seven years, comprising two years of pre-medical courses, followed by four years of regular medical studies, and culminating in a one-year clinical internship.
Students were carefully chosen from the top 50 male and top 50 female college freshmen qualifiers based on their University Predicted Grade (UPG) and their expressed interest in INTARMED on the UP College Admissions (UPCA) application form. Out of these highly talented individuals, only 40 students were granted admission into the INTARMED program.
