Having successfully passed the first and second assessments of a record-breaking number of submissions, Rileyโs essay under the Economics Category of the contest has now been submitted for a third reading by senior academics at Oxford and Cambridge who will recommend to the Board of Examiners which essays should be awarded commendations and which essays should be selected for the category prizes and the overall Grand Prize. Among the 19,000 candidates from across the globe, Riley is still in the run for the John Locke 2023 Global Essay Prize.
